Stinging Nettle Risotto

Our Paddock to Plate Cooking Series, demonstrates how to create simple Italian dishes from seasonal produce you can find in your vegetable garden or local store.

Stinging Nettle is abundant across many gardens during Spring and makes for a hearty, impressively bright green and most importantly very tasty risotto.  This vegetable is the undergo of Spring but packs a tasty punch, is full of iron and histamines for hay fever preparedness. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.

Our Paddock To Plate – Spring Series has arrived featuring the underdog of Spring vegetables – Stinging Nettle.  Stinging Nettle is abundant this time of year and grows wild across many gardens, meaning you can most likely pick it from your own backyard! We have used it to make a delicious risotto which is hearty, impressively bright green and most importantly very tasty.   Give it a go, you won't be disappointed. #olivigna #food #love #pietrogalloestate #recipes #recipe #italian #italiancooking #pasta #masterclass #learning #italianrecipes #cooking #stayathome #spring #paddocktoplate #vegetablegarden #stingingnettle #restaurant #video #cookingvideo #risotto #springcooking
